‘The Signalman’                    Storytelling event to commemorate Charles Dickens

What better place to celebrate the bi-centennial of our greatest storyteller than the only pub in Worthing named after him!

Join us downstairs at the Charles Dickens on Wednesday 8th February for an adapted re-telling of the most atmospheric of ghost stories, ‘The Signalman’. Told by candlelight, this promises to be an unsettling half hour, so make sure you’ve got a drink in hand before taking your seat.

Doors open just before 8:00 pm. After a brief introduction, the story will commence. No latecomers will be admitted once the performance is underway.

This is a free event brought to you by Listen Up! - local storytellers based in Worthing. Open to over 18s only. Come and listen!

What a difference an hour makes. Putting the clocks back is pure daylight robbery – why change our clocks so we get less light in our lives? Lighter Later is a campaign to brighten all of our days, by changing the clocks so we are up and about when the sun is out.
