Film Club Sunday 29th November 2009

This Sunday we will be showing two films, at 4.00pm we will be showing The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion ,The Witch & The Wardrobe cert PG and then at 7.00pm we will be showing A Good Year cert 12 ” a gently funny and very entertaining film ” The Daily Star.Please send in your requests and we will endeavour to show them as quickly as possible.

Film Club

Starting Sunday 22nd November we will be showing a film every week at 5.00pm. This weeks film is Memoirs of a Geisha certificate 12. Requests for films you would like us to show would be most welcome, and our aim is to extend film club to start earlier with a film suitable for all the family, with this in mind what about having your child’s birthday party at the Charles Dickens, let us deal with cleaning up and the catering, packages to suit all budgets we also have a WII machine available on 2 meter wide screen, Magican’s and entertainers can be arranged the possibilities are endless.

Due to conditions of our licence we can only advertise in house what each weeks film will be so please see the film board in the pub or phone for details.

Film Shows

We have installed a projector and two meter wide screen in the main function room this allows for playing the WII machine on a large scale and in addition we have applied for a licence to show films a condition of the licence is that we cannot advertise the films we are showing outside of the pub so for all information on what films we are showing and when you will have to read the film notice board inside the pub.

This facility will be available to customers wishing to book the function room for their exclusive use, ideal for doing a large scale holiday slides show, childrens birthday party, wedding video show, the list is endless.
